Toshiba Intros Two New Netbooks from the NB205 Series

Toshiba has always been a name from the top bracket as it has kept pace with the development of the other electronic giants. However, Netbooks has probably been the segment where the Tokyo based giant has lagged behind. Nonetheless, Toshiba is still trying to catch up and the latest netbooks developed in that attempt are the 210 and 310 from the NB205 Series.
There aren’t many stand-out features but the one that needs to be highlighted is the ability of both variants to charge the USB devices even in the sleep mode thanks to its “Sleep-and-Charge” technology.
The 210 is the cheaper option with a $350 price tag which is reasonable, considering the N280 processor, with 1GB DDR2 RAM expandable to 2GB, and 160GB HD. The 310 is priced at $400 and features a chiclet keyboard unlike the 210 that has a flat keyboard. It runs on Windows XP and also has a 2-in-1 memory card slot.
