Sony Ericsson W508 a Clamshell Mobile

Sony Ericsson seems to be on a hot roll with the latest series of mobiles they’re unleashing for 2009. One of their latest additions the W508, is a walkman series mobile that seems place greater importance on its looks and the variety it offers rather than the features on the inside.

Sony Ericsson W805 is a clamshell mobile that changes its appearance and offers its users various style options thanks to its extra style-up covers that are included in the box. It also sports equally powerful features on the inside and seems to be a mid-range mobile that is aimed at the young and the hip. With a 2.2-inch 240×320 main display – that when flipped opens, and a 1.1-inch OLED screen on the top, the W805 makes a complete style statement.

Being a Walkman series mobile from Sony, you can find the best music player on the inside with Shake and Gesture control, SenseMe and TrackID. There’s also a 3.2 Megapixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom, 100 MB of internal memory – not too impressive, Bluetooth and built-in GSM/GPRS/EDGE features to ensure decent connectivity.
